Terms & Conditions

Customers agree to these terms and conditions when they sign a contract with Urbano Unique Stone.

All purchases of products manufactured and supplied by Urbano Unique Stone shall remain the property of Urbano Unique Stone until such time as fully paid for in accordance with your contract and payment or payments are cleared in full into Urbano Unique Stone's nominated bank account.

Upon acceptance of the contract the buyer shall grant the right of access to Urbano Unique Stone and its employees and/or agents to enter the site or property and remove any products manufactured and supplied by Urbano Unique Stone if unpaid for as per this agreement.

Default in payment:
Default in payment by the above named buyer to the terms and conditions of this agreement renders the buyer liable to pay any collection agency or legal fees. In addition to this, interest will be charged at a rate of 12% per annum.

Cancellation to this agreement and cooling off period:
The buyer may cancel an agreement to purchase within 3 days of acceptance. As all purchases and preparatory work are customised for individual jobs, the buyer agrees to compensate Urbano Unique Stone for any costs incurred or damages due to cancellation of purchase and payments incurred by any employee, contractor or subcontractor engaged to work on behalf of Urbano Unique Stone (following the conclusion of the cooling off period).

Disputes Resolution:
Urbano Unique Stone will not accept any liability for legal costs outside the terms and conditions of this agreement.
Any disputes whatsoever are to be resolved through arbitration or mediation by either the Master Builders Association (MBA) or Housing Industry Association (HIA).

Disclaimer:
Quantities are the purchaser's responsibility and a site check is appropriate prior to final delivery of products manufactured and supplied by Urbano Unique Stone to the site. No responsibility will be accepted for incorrect orders or delays caused by site plan scale errors or other miscalculations or variation to designs. Following delivery to the site, no products manufactured and supplied by Urbano Unique Stone will be accepted for return by Urbano Unique Stone.

No responsibility is accepted by Urbano Unique Stone in any way for paving tiles and or products in transit. Delivery is the purchaser's responsibility even when organised and/or ordered by Urbano Unique Stone or any of Urbano Unique Stone's employees and or agents.

Please note:
Saltwater pools can be very corrosive and may affect the performance of the products manufactured and supplied by Urbano Unique Stone on the edge of pools and/or spa pools and surrounding area. Urbano Unique Stone products are manufactured stronger than normal and waterproofing additives are added to products manufactured and supplied by Urbano Unique Stone to help minimise damage caused by saltwater. It is recommended that 2 to 3 coats of a suitable quality sealant be applied to the surface of the paving tiles and bullnosing before filling the pool with water, and before adding salt into pool water. All care is taken to enhance the performance and minimise any damage of Urbano Unique Stone paving and bullnosing for saltwater conditions, however, Urbano Unique Stone accepts no responsibility for the paving tiles, bullnosing and or associated products for saltwater damage.

Expect slight variation in colour and in thickness. The colour variation is adds to the character of the Urbano Unique Stone products. A variation in thickness may occur. To ensure the desired finish is achieved, preparation of a solid foundation is essential; i.e. well compacted and dewatered base for paving; footings to the required height and width of the wall to be set down and may require backing blocks as per building regulation requirements.

Most broken products, if any, can be used for cutting to minimise wastage.
The purchaser should anticipate breakage of up to 5%.

All Pallets remain the property of Urbano Unique Stone and must be returned to Urbano Unique Stone by the buyer/ purchaser, unless authorised otherwise in writing. Urbano Unique Stone will charge pallets pick up fee of $100 per load for pickup. Prior to delivery a pallets deposit of $30.00 per pallet will be charged. The buyer/purchaser will be invoiced for any pallets not returned to Urbano Unique Stone. Any pallet deposits paid will be refunded upon the return of pallets to Urbano Unique Stone by the buyer. Urbano Unique Stone encourages correct disposal of waste materials in accordance with local authority requirements. Removal of waste and rubbish off site is solely the buyer's responsibility. It is recommended that a disposal bin or a trailer be supplied by the buyer and the buyer will assist in keeping the work site clean, tidy and safe.
